We're Old Route 66 Family Restaurant, and we've been a premier family American restaurant here in Dwight, Illinois, since 2001. We specialize in comfort food and classic American cuisine, as well as catering services for any event you have planned. Our delicious menu has something everyone will love. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we serve up some of the finest home-cooked meals this side of Chicago. We stopped by there last night after a basketball game. My son and I were glad we did. You get a lot of food for the price. He had the grilled cheese with 2 sides of fries ended up taking 1 side home and I had the breakfast 2 eggs, toast, 4 pieces of bacon, and hash browns. The waitress was the best we ever had anywhere. She was a young girl I want to say her name was Madi but I could be wrong. She continued to check on us throughout our time there and kept the drinks filled. If we are ever back in the area again we will definitely be going back.

Do you offer catering or large meal packages?

Yes-we offer catering for events and gatherings, and we’ll travel up to 30 miles for larger catering jobs. We also have convenient family meal packages, including our popular broasted chicken family pack and a special Thanksgiving family package that’s perfect for holiday celebrations.

Can I order for delivery or takeout?

Absolutely. We offer both carry-out and delivery within a 5-mile radius of Dwight. Whether you're planning a cozy night in or feeding a group, we make it easy to enjoy our food wherever you are.
